Womens Bodyboarding
Woman Emotion documents the exciting lifestyles of female bodyboarders around the world via film, photos and a combination of interviews. This project’s aim is not only to expose the already well-known athletes but also to discover and document the personal experience of underground bodyboarding girls. Woman Emotion is the first array of material to explore the unique culture of female bodyboarding - one of the worlds most progressive and electrifying ocean sports.
Kira Llewellyn and Rita Pires founded Woman Emotion in 2007.Their focus is to unite women bodyboarders and associate the increasing interest in the feminine image with a healthy and radical sport like bodyboarding. Team WE will consist of 5 Ambassadors spread across the world from Australia to Africa, Europe, Asia and America.
The name ‘Woman Emotion’ comes from the thrills that women take out of bodyboarding, a way to show feminine qualities and feelings. This intention is to value the female image in “out of the ordinary conditions”; by showing girls having a lot of fun and experiencing a whole range of emotions. Sensibilities, sentiment, attitude, sensation, and passion!!

The final day of the Bodyboard Pro Festival was completed at Isla De Margarita in front of a massive crowd.
The swell had a bit more size and punch and the clouds parted and created an awesome atmosphere for both competitors and spectators alike.

WBA Final 2008 Event
The final WBA event of the year will be held 15-16 November at Sundowner Tiona. The event besides being a comp will also feature a coaching clinic, yoga workshop, over $500 worth of prizes and the end of year presentation.
